Sales Director
We are partnering with a high-growth UK B2B SaaS business in digital health and social care as it enters its next phase of scale.

This Sales Director to join the Leadership Team and take ownership of the commercial growth strategy.
This is a build-and-scale role, not a BAU sales leadership position.

- Transform the existing sales team into a high-performing, predictable revenue engine.
- Build a scalable enterprise and outbound sales capability.

- Increase penetration of larger enterprise customers and lead major strategic opportunities.
- Own pipeline, forecasting, sales performance and budget.
- Build strategic channel and commercial partnerships.
- Introduce best-in-class sales technology, automation and AI to increase productivity.
- Lead, coach and scale a sales organisation of 20+ people.
- Work directly with the CEO, Board and investors on growth strategy and commercial performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Background We're Looking For
We are specifically interested in people who have scaled B2B SaaS businesses through a significant growth phase.
Strong backgrounds could include:
- B2B SaaS scale-ups – particularly businesses that have moved from founder-led/early sales into a structured, multi-million-pound revenue operation.
- Healthtech / Digital Health SaaS – particularly selling technology into complex, regulated or clinically-led environments.
- Vertical SaaS – especially businesses selling workflow, compliance, operational or mission-critical software into fragmented markets.
- GovTech / Public Sector SaaS – particularly experience selling into NHS, local government, social care or other complex procurement environments.
- Enterprise SaaS – candidates who have successfully built an enterprise sales motion and moved a business upmarket.
Ideally, you will have personally taken a SaaS business from approximately £5m to £20m+ ARR, rather than simply operated within a mature £50m+ sales organisation.

Ideal background:
- Led a 20+ person sales organisation.
- Built or transformed sales teams, rather than inherited a fully mature function.
- Strong enterprise and outbound sales experience.
- A track record of winning large, complex contracts and tenders.
- Experience developing channel/strategic partnerships.
- Experience entering new markets or geographies.
- Strong forecasting, pipeline and sales operations discipline.
- Experience working with CEOs, Boards and investors, including through fundraising/growth rounds.
- A genuine interest in using AI and technology to build a more efficient modern sales organisation.
Most importantly, we want a commercially ambitious sales leader who can operate strategically but is still close enough to the detail to build the machine.
You'll have significant autonomy and direct access to the CEO, with the opportunity to shape the company's commercial strategy, team and route to market.
