Referment is partnering with a specialist provider of institutional trading technology to appoint an experienced Enterprise Sales Director focused on Europe’s hedge fund market.

This is a senior, hands-on new-business role selling an established Order and Execution Management System to hedge funds, macro funds and alternative investment managers.

The essential requirement is experience selling enterprise software directly to hedge funds. Ideally, you will have sold an OMS, EMS or OEMS, although closely related trading technology will also be considered.

The opportunity

You will take ownership of developing the company’s hedge fund business across Europe, identifying opportunities and building relationships with senior decision-makers throughout the investment and trading lifecycle.

This is not a role supported by a large SDR or marketing operation. You will be expected to originate opportunities, develop your own network and personally drive the commercial process from initial engagement through to contract close.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
