Type: Full time
Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer
About iovox and HeyGuest:
iovox (pronounced eye-oh-voks) is a growing and profitable call analytics and AI company. Our technology is used by large businesses to increase revenue and improve operating efficiency.
With an estimated £1 billion in UK dining revenue already facilitated through iovox’s booking integrations with the leading table management platforms (OpenTable, ResDiary, SevenRooms, Zonal, Design My Night and liveRES among them) over the past decade, we are expanding our investment in this vital and growing market. We recently acquired HeyGuest.ai to focus exclusively on the hospitality market, and we are now adding a quota-carrying Junior Sales Director to our hospitality team, focused on winning multi-site restaurant, pub, hotel and venue groups of roughly 10 to 100 locations across the UK and EU.
HeyGuest is the brand under which this role will sell. It is a standalone platform, purpose-built for restaurant operators, and it is the product and brand identity you will represent in the market – in outreach, pitches, contracts and all customer-facing activity. HeyGuest automates guest conversations across voice, web chat, social and email, 24/7, checking live availability and confirming reservations without staff involvement, so teams can focus on the table in front of them rather than the phone behind the bar.
The customer ROI is proven: through the HeyGuest platform, Pizza Express increased phone bookings by 42% across more than 450 restaurants in the UK and Ireland. Building on this UK success, we are now growing HeyGuest across the EU markets already served by iovox’s other divisions (France, Spain, Italy, Portugal among others).
The Role:
This is an out-and-out, quota-carrying sales role, and an ideal next step for a driven, early-career sales professional ready to own their own patch. You will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, and you will not have any direct reports – your focus is 100% on selling, not on managing a team. Your target segment is multi-site restaurant, pub, hotel and venue operators with roughly 10 to 100 locations, across the UK and EU – businesses large enough to have a real, provable ROI case, but still fast-moving and accessible. With the full support of software developers, data scientists and technical support staff, you will be responsible for driving HeyGuest’s revenue growth across this segment. You will be focused on the following tasks:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
