Sales Director | Insurance
Wave Search is exclusively partnered with a global consulting and technology leader that is investing heavily into the General Insurance market across the UK & Ireland.
Following continued growth and strategic investment within the Insurance practice, the business is looking to appoint a Sales Director to help accelerate expansion across the General Insurance sector.
They are looking for a commercially driven sales leader with a strong network across the insurance market, the ability to build C-suite relationships, and a proven track record of winning complex consulting, technology, transformation, and managed services engagements.
The Opportunity
This organisation already works with many of the world's leading enterprises and has established capabilities across consulting, digital transformation, AI, cloud, data, engineering, and business services.
General Insurance has been identified as a key growth area, with significant investment being made to expand market share and strengthen the firm's position across the sector. The successful individual will play a key role in shaping go-to-market strategy, identifying market opportunities, opening new doors, and driving strategic revenue growth across the UK & Ireland.

What You'll Be Doing
- Driving new business growth across the General Insurance market
- Building and developing CXO-level relationships within target accounts
- Identifying whitespace opportunities and creating strategic sales plans
- Leading complex sales pursuits from opportunity creation through to closure
- Working closely with consulting, solution, pre-sales, commercial, and delivery teams
- Supporting RFP responses, proposition development, and solution positioning
- Acting as a market-facing representative and industry voice within Insurance
What They're Looking For
- Proven track record of enterprise sales within the Insurance sector
- Strong understanding of General Insurance market dynamics and buying behaviours
- Experience selling consulting, technology, transformation, outsourcing, or managed services solutions
- Established network of senior decision-makers across the Insurance market
- Ability to influence and engage C-suite stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen with a hunter mentality
- Appreciation of emerging technologies, AI, and their impact on the Insurance industry

Package: £130,000 - £150,000 + Sales Incentive Plan + Benefits
