We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to lead commercial growth in the UK for a leading international consultancy specialising in R&D Tax Credits, innovation funding and R&D project financing.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can combine sales strategy, team management and direct business development. You will lead a team of approximately 5 people while continuing to build and manage your own pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the UK sales strategy and annual sales plan.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Identify and win new business opportunities.
- Generate your own leads and manage the full sales cycle.
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers.
- Negotiate and close long-term commercial partnerships.
- Define KPIs and ensure strong pipeline management and forecasting.
- Work closely with Marketing and Partnerships to develop additional business channels.
- Ensure accurate CRM reporting and commercial visibility.

What we are looking for
- Previous experience in the R&D Tax Credits / R&D Tax Relief industry is essential.
- At least 3 years' experience managing and developing sales teams.
- Strong track record in new business development and B2B sales.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on sales activity.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
- Commercial, proactive and target-driven mindset.
- Availability to work from the Central London office two days per week.

Location: London
Working model: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office
Contract: Permanent, full-time
