Sales Director

Competitive Salary + bonus + car allowance + benefits

A senior commercial leadership opportunity with genuine scope to reshape, challenge and improve a UK & Ireland sales organisation.

We are partnering with an established, multi-channel business to appoint a Sales Director at an important point in its development.

The opportunity is significant, but this isn't a role for someone looking to simply inherit a well-oiled commercial machine. The business wants a senior leader who can look critically at the current setup, identify where things need to improve and bring greater structure, accountability and commercial discipline.

The Role

  • Lead the UK & Ireland sales strategy across a diverse, multi-channel customer base
  • Review and strengthen the existing commercial structure and ways of working
  • Build greater accountability, clarity and performance across the sales organisation
  • Improve customer segmentation, profitability and commercial decision-making
  • Strengthen tendering, negotiation and strategic customer planning
  • Work closely with operational and service-led functions to deliver the full customer proposition
  • Develop the capability and performance of the commercial team
  • Act as a key commercial partner to the MD and wider leadership team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
