Job Description & Summary

About the Role

PwC Managed Services helps organisations run, improve and scale their critical operations with confidence. We bring together technology, talent and sector expertise to take responsibility for day-to-day delivery while continuously improving performance, control and resilience. Our AI-powered, outcome-led approach helps clients move faster, scale smarter and lead stronger, delivering measurable value today and an advantage that lasts.

Managed Service Catalyst is PwC’s dedicated managed services go-to-market team, focused on shaping, positioning and winning Managed Service opportunities for the firm. The team brings together Go-To-Market (GTM) partners and enabling capabilities across strategy, communications, governance, digital, and our industry-leading Sales & Solution team to help clients combine operational run, transformation and technology-enabled improvement into measurable, outcome-led managed services propositions.

We are seeking experienced Sales Directors that will lead the go-to-market strategy, pipeline development, and sales execution within the Financial Services (FS) and / or Private sectors. This role requires a dynamic and experienced sales professional with strong domain expertise in managed services, encompassing business process services and technology services, and leading across the sales lifecycle. The individual will be responsible for building trusted relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring alignment with organisational market differentiation and messaging. The focus will be on identifying those managed services deals that combine transformation and operational run and an increasing use of AI/Agentic.

What your days will look like:

  • Develop, execute and sell in line with go-to-market and activation plans for the assigned sector in collaboration with PwC Managed Services and Go To Market (GTM) leadership;
  • Drive the go-to-market push on opportunities where we have a clear right-to-win, leveraging our managed services capabilities and service bundling, while proactively identifying adjacent growth opportunities through existing client relationships and complementary service offerings;
  • Take personal accountability for building a robust sales pipeline within the assigned sector through proactive client engagement and lead generation, while leading the end-to-end sales cycle from deal qualification to closure with a focus on securing must-win opportunities; targeted on origination volumes, quality and pursuit win rates and value;
  • Drive MS pipeline management, Salesforce governance and deal qualification processes, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking and reporting while identifying and prioritising must-win opportunities;
  • Drive a proactive, Managed Services-led go-to-market approach by rapidly progressing opportunities, engaging the right Service and Sector leadership, leveraging PwC Managed Services Experience events, and partnering with Sector and Account teams to generate leads, open accounts, and lead pursuits where appropriate.
  • Ability to build a trusted internal network across PwC Managed Services, sector, service and delivery teams to understand PwC’s managed services capabilities, delivery model, market differentiators and client case studies. Use this knowledge, alongside analyst insight and market signals, to position PwC’s AI-powered, outcome-led managed services propositions clearly in lead generation, with a focus on opportunities where we have a clear right-to-win and can deliver measurable client value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
