Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Importantly, we are not looking for someone who will spend the first few months purely preparing strategy documents before approaching clients. We need someone commercially aggressive and action-oriented who can immediately start bringing customers in while simultaneously improving sales collateral, systems, website positioning, CRM processes, and other commercial foundations as the business grows.

Requirements

This needs to be someone highly hands-on with business development:

  • Comfortable identifying opportunities and directly approaching potential clients
  • Willing to pick up the phone, get through to decision makers, arrange meetings, and actively chase opportunities
  • Comfortable with face-to-face business development, networking, venue visits, and proactive outreach — not purely relying on email marketing campaigns
  • Someone who understands that sales in hospitality and catering often require persistence, relationship building, and direct contact

We already work with an existing Google Ads agency and undertake marketing activity, however this role requires someone who can personally drive sales and open doors.

We are also looking for someone who has successfully done this before and can bring experience, standards, and structure into the business.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should:

  • Understand the standards required to compete successfully within the London corporate catering and hospitality market
  • Be able to elevate standards across sales presentation, proposals, systems, client experience, and commercial positioning
  • Contribute ideas towards product development and client offering
  • Provide guidance on tendering processes and what clients currently expect from caterers
  • Bring insight into trends, presentation standards, and commercial approaches that appeal to corporate clients and venues
  • Help shape a stronger and more scalable business overall

The ideal person will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, be adaptable, commercially sharp, proactive, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution without losing sight of growth targets. This is not a corporate maintenance role — we need someone hungry, resilient, connected, and motivated by growth.

We can provide the operational support and resources required to make the growth happen. Brand direction will come from the CEO and must be followed consistently.
