About You.
Are you a strategic and proactive Sales Leader, able to motivate and drive a successful team? Have you previously worked within a consumer finance setting? Does the idea of joining a company who are undergoing a genuinely exciting period of change and growth appeal?
About the Role
We're now searching for our new Sales Director to join us in a role where you'll be responsible for the development and execution of our growth strategies.
Reporting to our CEO, this role will form part of our highly collaborative Senior Leadership Team.
Our primary source of customer is via our broker network so it's imperative that you have the ability to lead our sales team, that you can lead contract negotiations with brokers whilst maintaining key relationships and maximising growth opportunities.
What You'll be Doing
- Represent our Sales department as part of our Senior Leadership Team, ensuring that SLT are aware of any upcoming market / legislative / consumer changes.
- Ensure that the Sales team retain the key skills needed to exceed whilst ensuring that the correct culture is there, and that we continue to maintain FCA guidelines and expectations.
- Visit brokers on a regular basis, ensuring that relationships are maintained and supported.
- Monitor new entrants onto the market and identify growth opportunities.
- Own the department’s KPIs and represent us at relevant forums and external events.
- Work with our Compliance and Risk teams’ ensuring that all processes are in line with the regulatory landscape, assist with any broker audits, whilst maintaining a focus on Consumer Duty.
- You’ll also work with our Transformation team to ensure that there is a smooth process for brokers and that there is an ease of access to our products for our customers.
What You’ll Have
This role needs someone who is a hand-on leader with excellent leadership skills; someone who is able to motivate, inspire and develop skills within the team. You’ll understand the regulatory side of things, and how this impacts our Sales function.

- Strong negotiation skills are a must, as is the ability to interpret and present data so that performance can be illustrated and decisions can be made accordingly.
- You’re able to build and maintain strong relationships, both internally and externally, and are comfortable and able to present information in a relevant manner.

Credit Reference Agencies – to complete a soft credit check to understand your financial history
