Sales Director - Public Sector Healthcare

About the Role
We are working with a leading global technology and consulting organisation that is looking to appoint a Sales Director to drive growth across the UK and Ireland Public Sector Healthcare market.
This is a strategic, client-facing sales role focused on building qualified pipeline, developing senior relationships and generating new business revenue through Health-Tech and IT services. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Health and Social Care landscape, including procurement routes, regulatory frameworks, healthcare transformation priorities and emerging technology trends.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, internal delivery teams, solution teams and partners to shape compelling propositions, develop business cases and close complex opportunities across Public Sector Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a strong, qualified sales pipeline within the Public Sector Healthcare market.
- Generate new business sales and revenue across the UK and Ireland.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned to market and account priorities.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, including C-suite contacts.
- Identify key opportunities and develop compelling propositions and business cases.
- Apply a consultative, solution-led sales approach to position Health-Tech and IT services.
- Collaborate with internal delivery, solution and partner teams throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Support bid activity, governance processes, sales reporting and pipeline management.
- Shape complex opportunities, including innovative commercial structures.
- Work with hyperscalers, advisory firms or consultancy partners where required.
- Stay informed on healthcare market trends, emerging technologies and their commercial impact.
- Operate effectively across virtual and geographically distributed teams.
- Manage senior stakeholder communication, negotiation and relationship development.
- Work flexibly in line with client and bid commitments.

Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience selling Health-Tech, IT services, consulting or technology-led solutions into Public Sector Healthcare.
- Strong understanding of the UK and Ireland healthcare market.
- Knowledge of Health and Social Care environments, procurement routes and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrable track record of generating sales revenue through consultative or solution-led sales.
- Experience building and managing senior-level client relationships, including C-suite stakeholders.
- Strong ability to identify, shape and close complex opportunities.
- Experience developing propositions, business cases and commercial structures.
- Broad understanding of the IT industry, emerging technologies and market trends.
- Experience working with virtual, distributed or multi-location teams.
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with hyperscalers, advisory firms or consultancy partners as bid partners would be beneficial.
- Self-motivated, collaborative and target-driven approach.
