Sales Director
About Landytech
Landytech is on a mission to transform the way financial institutions, investment managers, asset owners, and their advisers access, manage, and use investment data.
Powered by our investment technology platform, we help organizations bring together complex investment information, improve data accuracy and control, reduce manual processes, and make better-informed decisions.
We work with clients across multiple markets and jurisdictions and are continuing to expand our presence with sophisticated financial institutions globally.
Team & Role
As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for winning new enterprise clients for Landytech's investment technology solutions.
The role will have a particular focus on complex financial institutions and service providers, including trust companies, private banks, fund administrators, large asset managers, and other organizations managing significant volumes of investment data.
You will own the full enterprise sales cycle, from identifying and developing opportunities through discovery, solution evaluation, commercial negotiation, and close.
Our solutions address complex operational and investment data challenges, including fragmented data across multiple custodians and systems, manual processing, reconciliation, reporting, data governance, and the need for scalable technology infrastructure.
As a result, opportunities will often involve multiple stakeholders across Investment, Operations, Technology, Data, Risk, Compliance, and senior management. You will need to understand the priorities of each stakeholder and build a compelling business case across the organization.
This is a new-business role suited to someone comfortable navigating complex enterprise sales cycles and developing opportunities proactively. You will work closely with colleagues across Product, Solutions, Professional Services, and Client Success throughout the sales process.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own and deliver against an annual new-business revenue target.
- Proactively identify, develop, and qualify new enterprise sales opportunities within target financial institutions.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders across Investment, Operations, Technology, Data, Risk, Compliance, and executive leadership.
- Lead consultative discovery to understand a prospect's current technology environment, workflows, operational challenges, and strategic priorities.
- Translate complex client requirements into a clear value proposition and demonstrate how Landytech's technology can improve data quality, operational efficiency, governance, and scalability.
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise buying processes and develop strong internal champions.
- Build compelling commercial and business cases that demonstrate measurable operational and strategic value.
- Coordinate internal specialists across Product, Solutions, and Professional Services during technical evaluations, demonstrations, and solution validation.
- Manage enterprise evaluations and procurement processes, including RFPs, technical reviews, information security, legal, and commercial negotiations.
- Develop and negotiate software and services proposals and progress opportunities through to successful close.
- Maintain accurate opportunity management, forecasting, and CRM data.
- Develop a strong understanding of the financial technology landscape, relevant market trends, and the challenges faced by our target clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
