I’m partnering with an exciting SME snacking business that is looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Sales Director to lead the next phase of its growth.
This is a genuine opportunity to join a business with big ambitions, where you’ll have the autonomy to shape the commercial strategy, build strong customer relationships and accelerate growth across the UK.
The Role
As Sales Director, you’ll take ownership of the UK sales strategy across Grocery, Convenience and Impulse, leading key customer relationships and identifying new opportunities to drive distribution, rate of sale and sustainable revenue growth.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering the overall UK sales strategy
- Leading relationships across major Grocery, Convenience and Impulse customers
- Driving distribution, ranging, promotional and commercial opportunities
- Building and delivering strong customer plans and JBPs
- Identifying new channels and opportunities for growth
- Leading, developing and motivating the sales team
- Working closely with Marketing, NPD and the wider leadership team to bring the brand strategy to life
- Taking ownership of the commercial number and delivering against ambitious growth targets

We’re looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial Sales leader who thrives in an SME environment and enjoys being close to the detail.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Strong FMCG sales experience, ideally within snacking, food or a high-growth consumer brand
- Proven experience across Grocery, Convenience and Impulse
- Strong relationships with UK retailers and customers
- A track record of delivering commercial growth and winning new opportunities
- Experience leading and developing a sales team
- Excellent negotiation, commercial and influencing skills
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to operate with pace and autonomy
- The energy and ambition to help take an exciting SME brand to its next level
