AgileSource Sales Director Opportunity
AgileSource is seeking a commercially driven Sales Director with proven senior marketing and consulting experience who can immediately impact revenue generation and accelerate business growth. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring an individual who can develop and execute sales strategies, leverage marketing expertise to generate demand, and apply a consultative approach to winning and growing client relationships.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering sales growth, advising senior stakeholders, building high-performing teams, and aligning sales and marketing functions to achieve ambitious commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Lead and deliver the company's sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across target markets.
- Develop and manage strategic customer relationships at Executive and Board level.
- Build, mentor, and motivate high-performing sales teams.
- Drive immediate commercial activity and revenue growth from appointment.
- Create accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management processes.
Marketing Leadership
- Develop and oversee marketing strategies that support business growth objectives.
- Align marketing initiatives with sales goals to maximise lead generation and conversion.
- Manage brand positioning, market awareness, and customer engagement activities.
- Utilise market insights and analytics to improve campaign performance and ROI.
- Lead demand generation and customer acquisition programmes.

Consulting & Client Advisory
- Apply a consultative approach to understand client challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to identify commercial opportunities and support business transformation initiatives.
- Translate complex client needs into practical, value-driven propositions.
- Support the development of new service offerings and go-to-market strategies.
- Provide strategic advice and thought leadership to clients and internal stakeholders.
Commercial Strategy
- Partner with senior leadership to define and implement growth plans.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities for market expansion, strategic partnerships, and new revenue streams.
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics across sales and marketing functions.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Sales Director, Commercial Director, or similar senior commercial leadership role.
- Previous Head of Marketing or senior marketing leadership experience.
- Experience within a consulting, advisory, or professional services environment.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering significant revenue growth and winning new business.
- Strong experience engaging and influencing C-suite and Board-level stakeholders.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales and marketing strategies.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
- Track record of driving immediate commercial impact while implementing long-term growth strategies.

Salary
£100,000 - £130,000 + Performance Bonus + Benefits
