AgileSource Sales Director Opportunity

AgileSource is seeking a commercially driven Sales Director with proven senior marketing and consulting experience who can immediately impact revenue generation and accelerate business growth. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring an individual who can develop and execute sales strategies, leverage marketing expertise to generate demand, and apply a consultative approach to winning and growing client relationships.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering sales growth, advising senior stakeholders, building high-performing teams, and aligning sales and marketing functions to achieve ambitious commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

  • Lead and deliver the company's sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across target markets.
  • Develop and manage strategic customer relationships at Executive and Board level.
  • Build, mentor, and motivate high-performing sales teams.
  • Drive immediate commercial activity and revenue growth from appointment.
  • Create accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management processes.

Marketing Leadership

  • Develop and oversee marketing strategies that support business growth objectives.
  • Align marketing initiatives with sales goals to maximise lead generation and conversion.
  • Manage brand positioning, market awareness, and customer engagement activities.
  • Utilise market insights and analytics to improve campaign performance and ROI.
  • Lead demand generation and customer acquisition programmes.

Consulting & Client Advisory

  • Apply a consultative approach to understand client challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to identify commercial opportunities and support business transformation initiatives.
  • Translate complex client needs into practical, value-driven propositions.
  • Support the development of new service offerings and go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide strategic advice and thought leadership to clients and internal stakeholders.

Commercial Strategy

  • Partner with senior leadership to define and implement growth plans.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion, strategic partnerships, and new revenue streams.
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics across sales and marketing functions.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as a Sales Director, Commercial Director, or similar senior commercial leadership role.
  • Previous Head of Marketing or senior marketing leadership experience.
  • Experience within a consulting, advisory, or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering significant revenue growth and winning new business.
  • Strong experience engaging and influencing C-suite and Board-level stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales and marketing strategies.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Track record of driving immediate commercial impact while implementing long-term growth strategies.
