Sales Enablement Manager

Department: Sales
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Zinc - London
Reporting To: Frances Arville, Head of Sales
Compensation: £50,000 - £70,000 / year

Description

✨Zinc is scaling its commercial motion — new enterprise pipeline, a growing AE team, increased focus on account expansion, and reps at different stages of ramp. This is our first dedicated enablement hire, working closely with our Head of Sales to build the function from the ground up. You'll be hands-on from day one: turning what Sales, Product, and Marketing already know into material and coaching that helps every rep sell Zinc's story consistently, from first call to closed-won and beyond.🚀

Key Responsibilities 🗝️

✨Help build AE onboarding & ramp: put together the playbook that gets new AEs productive fast — product knowledge, ICP, objection handling, narrative and competitive positioning — working from direction set by the Head of Sales.

💫Support SDR/AE/AM consistency: help keep pre-sales and post-sales messaging aligned across the customer lifecycle, flagging where it's slipping.

🧩 Content that sells: work with Marketing and Product to turn case studies, ROI data, and feature releases into first-call decks, pipeline collateral, one-pagers, and battlecards reps actually use — using the deal room, video, GIFs, and Claude. This is a hands-on, get-it-done role.

⭐️Coaching & certification: run call reviews, skill assessments, and refreshers so the team keeps improving post-onboarding, not just in week one.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

🪛Tooling: work with RevOps and GTM engineering to help keep the sales stack reps touch daily (HubSpot, Gong, enablement content hub) working for reps, not against them.

🧐Needs assessment: help run gap analysis with reps and managers (1:1s, surveys, call reviews) to feed into where enablement should focus next.

✨Multi-format delivery: mix live training, async modules, job aids, and peer coaching so enablement fits around a working sales floor.

⚡️Performance feedback loop: help track enablement impact against quota attainment, ramp time, and win rate, and pull results together for Sales leadership each quarter.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 🚀

👩‍💼2–4 years in sales enablement, sales ops, or real closing sales experience at a B2B SaaS company — this is a great next step if you're looking to grow into building a function rather than inheriting one.

📖A gift for storytelling — building clear, compelling narratives, both internally and in external resources.

🧑‍🎨Not a master of visual design, but you know what looks good and can replicate it.

🧐Relentlessly curious, with a passion for understanding what makes people tick and enjoy getting under the skin of whatever industry you're working in.

🔖Familiar with the standard sales playbooks (MEDDPIC etc.) and keen to build a sharper view of where they work well and where they don't.

🎨Comfortable designing and delivering training yourself — a builder and facilitator, not just a project manager.

📈Data-literate: comfortable pulling HubSpot/Gong data, spotting where reps are losing deals or stalling, and turning that into an enablement fix, working with our RevOps Manager to help lift conversion rates and sales velocity.

📝Excellent written and verbal communicator — you'll be creating content and coaching people at every level, from new starters to senior AEs.

⭐️Bonus: experience in background screening, HR tech, or another compliance-adjacent B2B category.
