The Role
The Sales Enablement Manager is a critical member of Proofpoint’s EMEA Sales Enablement team and will report into the Director, Sales Enablement EMEA. This role develops and implements enablement/effectiveness programs to ensure that the sales organisation is well-equipped with the tools and behaviours to achieve its goals.
Sales Enablement — Value & Deal Coaching
What You Will Do
- Partner with EMEA sales leaders and account teams to support sales performance across the region.
- Provide coaching and support on strategic enterprise opportunities.
- Help account teams develop compelling customer value propositions, business cases, and executive-level presentations.
- Support sellers in connecting Proofpoint's solutions to customer business priorities and outcomes.
- Support the use of MEDDICC across the EMEA sales organisation.
- Design and deliver sales workshops, coaching sessions, and other enablement activities.
- Support EMEA new hires through onboarding and ongoing development.
- Work with sales leadership to understand regional enablement requirements and priorities.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Value Management, Marketing, Channel, and other functions to support the field.
- Contribute to regional and global enablement programmes and initiatives.
- Share relevant learning, examples, and resources across the EMEA sales organisation.
- Measure and communicate the impact of enablement activities where appropriate.

What Experience and Evidence You Will Have
- Significant experience in enterprise B2B sales, sales enablement, sales excellence, value selling, or a related role.
- Experience working with enterprise sales teams and senior sales leaders.
- Demonstrable experience coaching sellers on live enterprise opportunities.
- Experience supporting value selling, business-case development, or executive customer conversations.
- Good practical knowledge of MEDDICC/MEDDPICC.
- Experience designing and delivering sales training, workshops, or coaching programmes.
- Strong understanding of complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales.
- Experience in cybersecurity or enterprise technology would be advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen and communication skills.
- Confidence working with highly experienced salespeople and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently across multiple priorities in a regional role.
- A clear point of view on what effective sales enablement looks like and the confidence to contribute that perspective.
