Position overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-oriented Sales Engineer to join our growing team. As a Sales Engineer at Cloudi-Fi, you will play a key role in the pre-sales process by acting as the technical trusted advisor for prospects, customers, and partners. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to demonstrate the value of Cloudi-Fi solutions and help customers solve complex cybersecurity and network access challenges. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, communication skills, and business understanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to support the full sales cycle from qualification to closing
  • Understand customer business and technical requirements and translate them into tailored solution designs
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, workshops, and technical presentations
  • Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers
  • Design and validate solution architectures for customer environments
  • Support Proof of Concepts (PoCs), pilots, and technical evaluations
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires
  • Act as a trusted advisor on topics related to: Zero Trust Network Access, Network Access Control (NAC), Secure Wi-Fi access, Identity-driven security, Cloud security, Enterprise networking
  • Collaborate with Product Management by sharing customer feedback and market insights
  • Support channel partners and strategic alliances from a technical perspective
  • Stay current on cybersecurity trends, competitive technologies, and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, solutions architect, or cybersecurity consulting role
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing & Switching, Wi-Fi technologies
  • Experience with cybersecurity technologies such as: NAC, Zero Trust, SASE / SSE, Identity & Access Management, Firewalls, MFA, Endpoint security
  • Experience working with enterprise customers and complex IT environments
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Native in English (additional European languages are a plus)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of authentication technologies: SAML, OAuth, RADIUS, LDAP / Active Directory
  • Experience with APIs and integrations
  • Previous experience in cybersecurity or SaaS companies
  • Relevant certifications are a plus: CISSP, CCNA / CCNP, Zscaler certifications, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Microsoft Security
