Sales Engineer - Glasgow

As a Sales Engineer in Glasgow, you'll be responsible for driving sales within the manufacturing sector. Your work will involve building strong client relationships and offering tailored engineering solutions to meet their needs.

Description

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their engineering requirements.
  • Identify new business opportunities and work to expand the customer base.
  • Provide technical support and advice to clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Travel to client sites as required, supported by a company car or allowance.

Profile

A successful Sales Engineer should have:

  • A background in engineering with a HND or equivalent.
  • Experience in sales within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
  • The ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • A valid driving licence to accommodate travel requirements.

Job Offer

  • Salary dependent on the level of experience, up to £47,000.
  • 15% bonus.
