What You Will Do:
- Generate new sales opportunities across the UK and Ireland for balancing machines, upgrades, and related service or spares.
- Visit existing customers to discuss quotations, applications, and ongoing requirements, while strengthening long-term partnerships.
- Identify and pursue new customers across a designated territory, ensuring consistent pipeline development.
- Provide accurate quotations and commercial terms, supported by timely pricing and technical information from internal product experts.
- Maintain customer records and update the CRM regularly to keep forecasts and project tracking on point.
- Support service teams where required and keep abreast of competitor activity, sharing meaningful insights with internal stakeholders.

What You Will Bring:
- Previous field sales experience within industrial machinery, capital equipment, vibration monitoring, or mechanical engineering.
- A strong technical understanding of capital equipment, vibration analysis, or mechanical systems, with a genuine desire to keep learning.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the confidence to engage customers, engineers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Strong organisational ability, including managing multiple priorities and working accurately under pressure.
- Competence with Microsoft Office and experience using SAP and CRM systems (or a quick aptitude to get up to speed).

Location:
This Sales Engineer role is based in the North of the UK, covering a territory along the M1 corridor between Nottingham and Leeds and further North, with travel to customer sites across the region.
