As a Sales Engineer, you'll be a trusted technical advisor, partnering with Account Executives and customers to demonstrate how Ideagen's solutions solve complex business challenges. You'll own the technical sales cycle from discovery through to proof-of-value, helping prospects understand the value of our products while influencing deal strategy and driving successful outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth, global organisation where you'll have ownership of your opportunities, collaborate with experienced sales professionals, and continue developing your expertise across Ideagen's EHS, Quality and Compliance portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical sales cycle for your opportunities, leading discovery sessions, product demonstrations and proof-of-value activities from qualification through to close.
- Partner closely with Account Executives and Account Managers to develop deal strategy, support pipeline growth and progress opportunities successfully.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to prospects, understanding business challenges and positioning appropriate solutions.
- Lead technical validation activities, including RFIs, security questionnaires and customer technical assessments.
- Present Ideagen's AI capabilities using approved messaging, customer use cases and business-focused value propositions.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Ideagen's EHS, Quality and Compliance solutions and their application across different industries.
- Identify technical risks early, provide recommendations and support successful deal execution through collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Skills and Experience
- Experience in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting or technical pre-sales role within enterprise software.
- Demonstrated track record of owning technical sales engagements and contributing to successful deal closure.
- Strong discovery, presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels, including executive audiences.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value.
- Experience collaborating within cross-functional sales teams to drive customer outcomes and revenue growth.
- Experience within regulated industries such as EHS, Quality or Compliance would be advantageous.
- Experience working within a global or matrixed organisation is beneficial.
