Sales Engineer – Capital Markets Technology

About Sosuv

Sosuv is a specialist technology company focused on the global capital markets industry. We work with financial institutions, trading platforms, brokers, exchanges and fintech firms, providing technology consulting, software engineering, FIX connectivity, trading technology and managed services.

Alongside our services business, we develop technology products including SoFIX, our AI-powered platform designed to automate FIX connectivity, certification, onboarding and related workflows.

As we continue to grow our UK business, we are looking for a technically minded and commercially motivated individual to join us in a client-facing sales and presales role.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with early-career experience in capital markets technology, FIX onboarding, implementation, application support or technical client services who would like to move into a more commercial and client-facing position.

You do not need to come from a traditional sales background.

You will work closely with our senior management, product and engineering teams and will be trained on the SoFIX platform and Sosuv's wider technology capabilities.

Your role will combine technical product demonstrations, presales, client engagement and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver product demonstrations of SoFIX to prospective clients.
  • Understand client requirements and demonstrate how Sosuv's products and services can address their technology challenges.
  • Support the sales process from initial engagement through demonstrations, follow-ups, proposals and commercial discussions.
  • Identify new business opportunities across banks, brokers, asset managers, trading venues, fintechs and other capital-markets firms.
  • Follow up with prospects generated through conferences, referrals, LinkedIn and other channels.
  • Work with our technical teams to coordinate PoCs and respond to technical questions from prospective clients.
  • Represent Sosuv at FIX Trading Community and other capital-markets/fintech conferences and networking events.
  • Develop an understanding of Sosuv's broader engineering, FIX connectivity and managed-services capabilities to identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain prospect and opportunity information and support sales pipeline management.
  • Provide feedback from clients and prospects to our product and engineering teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
