Join TrueCommerce at a Critical Point in Our Growth
Be the technical advisory that helps sales win deals.
The Role
The Sales Engineer plays a critical role in helping TrueCommerce win complex B2B integration opportunities by serving as a technical advisor, trusted partner, and solution strategist throughout the sales process. Customers rely on TrueCommerce to connect mission-critical business systems, trading partners, and workflows; they need confidence that our EDI, API, supplier enablement, and ERP-integrated solutions will solve their business challenges and work successfully in their environment.
In partnership with Account Executives, Product, Implementation, and Services teams, you will lead technical discovery, design tailored solution approaches, deliver compelling demonstrations, support technical validation and proof-of-concept activities, and ensure a clear handoff from sale to implementation. Your impact will be measured by your ability to increase technical win rates, accelerate deal progression, reduce implementation risk, strengthen customer confidence, and translate complex integration requirements into clear business value for prospects, customers, and partners.
What You'll Do
Technical Discovery and Win Rate
- Lead technical discovery with prospects and customers to understand business processes, integration requirements, ERP environment, data flows, security needs, and success criteria
- Achieve a target technical "win rate" by effectively addressing prospect requirements and outperforming competing solutions in technical validations and proofs of concept.
- Scope, support, and lead technical validations, proof-of-concept activities, or proof-of-value engagements with clear success criteria and customer-facing outcomes
- Build trust with senior level customer prospects and stakeholders to drive confidence in our solutions across complex and high value opportunities.
- Address technical objections, competitive questions, product limitations, and integration concerns with credible, business-oriented responses

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
