The Opportunity

Radar Healthcare's new Sales Engineer

As we continue to grow across the UK and US markets, we're looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our commercial team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves engaging with customers, demonstrating software solutions and translating complex challenges into meaningful outcomes. You'll be the product expert within our Sales team, helping prospective customers understand the value of Radar Healthcare through compelling demonstrations, consultative discussions and expert product guidance.

What you’ll be doing to make a difference:

As our Sales Engineer, you'll work closely with Sales Leads throughout the sales cycle, partnering with prospective customers and showcasing how Radar Healthcare can help solve their challenges.

  • Sales demonstration and opportunity progression
    • Lead engaging, outcome-focused product demonstrations for prospective customers across the UK and US markets.
    • Tailor demonstrations to the customer’s priorities, buying criteria, workflows, challenges and desired outcomes.
    • Support discovery, qualification, sales meetings, workshops and solution discussions throughout the sales cycle.
    • Clearly communicate product value, differentiation, functionality and use cases to technical, clinical, operational and executive audiences.
    • Partner with Sales Leads to define the sales objective, demonstration strategy, stakeholder needs, risks and agreed next steps for each opportunity.
  • Sales engineering and solution expertise
    • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of the Radar Healthcare platform, product portfolio, value proposition and key customer use cases.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of product functionality, approved roadmap developments, integrations, configuration options and solution dependencies.
    • Manage high-quality demonstration environments, sales scenarios and supporting data that reflect priority markets and buyer needs.
    • Provide accurate and timely responses to product, technical and solution questions raised during live opportunities.
    • Keep up to date with healthcare market developments, competitor positioning and customer expectations, using insight to strengthen sales messaging and differentiation.
  • Support complex sales opportunities
    • Work alongside Sales Leads to understand customer requirements and recommend the most appropriate solution approach.
    • Help qualify opportunities and identify requirements, dependencies and potential solution gaps.
    • Contribute to proposals, tenders, presentations and customer responses.
    • Provide product insight during commercial discussions while ensuring commitments align with current product capability and roadmap plans.
    • Work alongside Sales Leads to qualify customer requirements, buying drivers and success criteria, and identify the most relevant solution approach.
    • Assess product fit, technical requirements, dependencies, risks and potential solution gaps early in the sales cycle.
    • Contribute solution expertise and persuasive, customer-specific content to proposals, tenders, presentations and written responses.
    • Support commercial discussions with clear solution input, ensuring proposed commitments remain aligned with current product capability and the approved roadmap.
  • Buyer and stakeholder engagement
    • Build credibility and trusted-adviser relationships with clinical, quality, governance, operational, technical, procurement and executive stakeholders.
    • Facilitate consultative conversations that uncover customer challenges, decision criteria, priorities and intended outcomes.
    • Adapt sales messaging, discovery and demonstrations to suit UK and US healthcare contexts, stakeholder expectations and stages of the buying journey.
    • Represent Radar Healthcare at prospect meetings, webinars, conferences and industry events where sales engineering expertise is required.
    • Capture prospect feedback, competitive insight and recurring requirements, sharing them with Sales, Product and relevant internal teams.

Your journey so far...

  • Strong previous experience working in a Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant or similar role within a comparable sales environment.
  • Strong experience delivering software or SaaS product demonstrations to a range of stakeholder audiences.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into relevant solution capabilities and business outcomes.
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder sales opportunities and working as part of a sales team.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly across UK and US sales activity, including occasional travel and meetings across different time zones.

  • Knowledge of NHS, private healthcare, social care or US healthcare markets.
  • Clinical background or previous experience working in a clinical healthcare setting.

  • Experience contributing to bids, tenders, proposals or formal customer evaluations.
