Sales Engineer - Robotics Solutions
We are seeking a result-driven Sales Engineer to own end-to-end business development for our robotics products in the UK market. You will develop direct end users and channel partners, drive the full sales cycle from lead generation, POC, proposal, negotiation to order closure & payment collection, and build long-term local market presence for our robotics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
New Business & Channel Development
- Identify and target manufacturing, automation integrators, logistics, and other vertical customers in the UK.
- Develop direct accounts and local distributors/system integrators.
- Source leads via industry exhibitions, LinkedIn, local industry associations, referrals, and cold outreach.
- Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline with regular forecast updates.

Full-Cycle Technical Sales & Project Execution
- Conduct customer requirement discovery, on-site visits, product demos, and technical presentations for robotics solutions.
- Collaborate closely with domestic R&D/application teams to define solution scope, support POC planning, prepare quotations, technical proposals, and commercial contracts.
- Lead business negotiation on price, delivery, commercial terms.
- Push project closure, track order execution, and follow-up payment collection.
Account Management & Customer Success
- Maintain relationships with existing key accounts, explore upsell/cross-sell opportunities, improve customer loyalty.
- Act as key liaison between the UK customers and internal teams.
- Collect product feedback, on-site pain points, and deliver to product & engineering teams for iteration.
- Assist the after-sales team to resolve customer complaints and on-site issues to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor the UK local market trends, competitor offerings, pricing, and customer pain points.
- Provide market insights for local strategy adjustment.
- Attend major robotics/FA trade shows in the UK for branding, lead acquisition, and networking.
- Submit periodic sales reports, pipeline status, and market analysis to global sales management.
