Summary: Join a global leader in electronic materials and help drive innovation across Aerospace & Defense, Wireless/5G, Automotive Radar and Industrial RF applications. This role is based in the AES business unit and develops new business, expands existing medium-to-large accounts, and influences early design decisions at OEMs. Using expertise in RF electronics and printed circuit board (PCB) materials & processing, the Sales Engineer identifies opportunities, supports customer applications, and collaborates internally to deliver superior technical and commercial solutions.

Considering remote applicants who reside in the UK/EU: UK, Scandinavia, Germany (north/west), Benelux. Applicants from other states may not be eligible for consideration for this position.

Essential Functions:

  1. OEM Program & Design-In Development
    • Drive early engagement with OEM engineering, procurement, and program teams to influence RF/PCB material selection and gain visibility into customer roadmaps.
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities by influencing specifications, driving design-ins, and aligning with customer product roadmaps.
    • Promote Rogers products and technologies; address RF/microwave application challenges.
    • Lead design-win tracking, funnel management, and opportunity qualification using CRM tools.
    • Present cost-benefit analyses and value propositions for OEM decision makers.

  1. Direct Account & PCB Fabricator Engagement

    • Build, manage, and grow relationships with PCB fabricators to ensure alignment with OEM requirements and material specifications.
    • Support PCB processing topics (lamination, RF stack-ups, yields, manufacturability).
    • Secure forecasting from fabricators and maintain accurate planning inputs.
    • Oversee quotations, program pricing, order follow-up, and issue resolution.
  2. Key Account Management & Global Coordination

    • Grow key European OEM accounts and coordinate with Asia/US colleagues to align global program execution.
    • Support product qualifications, audits, readiness reviews, and production ramp-ups.
    • Address lead time or quality incidents with appropriate internal teams.
  3. Market & Competitive Intelligence

    • Monitor customer activity, competitor movements, and market trends in RF, microwave, automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors.
    • Adjust strategic sales plans to reflect evolving technology and competitive dynamics.

  1. Internal Collaboration

    • Collaborate with Technical Service, R&D, Product Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain to build tailored solutions aligned to customer needs.
    • Maintain CRM data quality and provide accurate forecasts.
    • Participate in international sales meetings, internal reviews, and exhibitions.
  2. Travel & Customer Interaction

    • Conduct regular visits to OEMs and fabricators (30–40% travel).
    • Produce clear visit reports and follow-up actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years in RF/microwave electronics and/or PCB design, fabrication, or materials.
  • Strong knowledge of RF systems, PCB stack-ups, and high-frequency behavior.
  • Experience managing OEM and fabricator accounts across engineering, procurement, and program functions.
  • Fluent in English; Nordic language a plus.
  • Ability to travel within the region (30–40%).
