Your Tasks
- Generate new sales opportunities for all aspects of the MPS Division (Schenck RoTec) with both new and existing customers.
- Ensure that customer requirements and expectations are fully understood and considered.
- Consider alternative solutions to customer proposals demonstrating appropriate advantages both technically and commercially.
- Liaise with Schenck RoTec GmbH to obtain the most up to date pricing and technical information, to provide customers with the best possible balancing solution.
- Actively explore with customer and suppliers cost effective solutions.
Your Skills
- Previous field sales experience within industrial machinery, capital equipment, vibration monitoring or mechanical engineering sectors.
- Technical understanding of capital equipment, vibration analysis or mechanical systems, with an eagerness to develop knowledge in this area.
- Strong Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work accurately under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, engineers, and internal teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP and CRM systems.
- Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness and a strong interest in supporting both sales and profitability growth.
- Experience of working within both office and site environments is required.
- Ideally based in the Leeds / Sheffield areas to cover our northern customer base, you will need to be flexible with regard to travel and working time since this role could take you around both the UK and occasionally overseas.
