We are seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused Sales Engineer to join our team supporting the UK & Ireland channel ecosystem.

This role will play a key technical role in supporting resellers, technology partners, prospects, and customers, helping them maximise the value of Webfleet solutions while ensuring a high-quality technical and customer experience.

What will your role be?

Technical Enablement and Training

  • Deliver technical training and enablement to UK & Ireland resellers, technology partners, and customers on Webfleet products, solutions, integrations, and new product releases.
  • Train and support the UK Channel Sales team on new products, solutions, and partner integrations.
  • Ensure partners have the technical knowledge and resources required to successfully position, deploy, and support Webfleet solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers in other regions to share technical knowledge, best practices, and insights.

Technical Pre-Sales Support

  • Provide technical pre-sales support to resellers, prospects, and customers across the UK & Ireland.
  • Work closely with channel sales teams and partners to understand customer requirements and identify, position, and demonstrate appropriate Webfleet solutions.
  • Support technical discussions, product demonstrations, and solution design throughout the sales process.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to partners and customers, helping them understand the value and capabilities of Webfleet solutions.

Technical Support and Customer Experience

  • Act as a key operational support resource for complex post-sales technical queries from channel partners and their customers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues remotely and on-site where required, escalating to the appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Work closely with the UK Customer Support team to ensure a seamless and high-quality support experience for channel partners and their customers.
  • Help facilitate the resolution of complex customer cases across different teams and functions within the organisation.

Partner Development and Integration

  • Support the onboarding, technical integration, and successful deployment of new technology partners.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to technology partners throughout integration and solution development activities.
  • Work with existing and new resellers to ensure they have the technical capabilities and knowledge required to successfully deploy Webfleet solutions.
  • Act as a technical representative and champion for UK & Ireland channel partners within Webfleet.

Strategic Projects & Product Testing

  • Support strategic initiatives within the UK & Ireland channel ecosystem, contributing to growth, operational excellence, and partner success.
  • Participate in confidential Alpha and Beta testing of new hardware, software, and mobile applications.
  • Provide technical feedback to product and value stream teams based on partner and customer requirements and testing results.
  • Coordinate with central product and technical teams to support the successful introduction and deployment of new solutions in the market.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with UK Channel Sales, Customer Support, Operations, Product, and other cross-functional teams to ensure technical alignment and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong communication with global Sales Engineers and central product and value stream teams.
  • Share technical insights, market feedback, and best practices across the wider Sales Engineering community.
  • Act as a bridge between the UK & Ireland channel ecosystem and Webfleet's global technical and product teams.

Who are you?

You are a proactive and technically adept professional who enjoys working closely with partners, customers, and internal teams. You thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment and are passionate about technology, problem-solving, and knowledge sharing.

You enjoy translating complex technical concepts into practical solutions and are comfortable supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities. You are collaborative, adaptable, and confident working with stakeholders across different functions and regions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical sales, Sales Engineering, technical support, solutions engineering, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of relevant technologies, software solutions, integrations, and APIs.
  • Experience providing technical training, enablement, or product demonstrations to partners, customers, or internal teams.
  • Experience supporting technical integrations and/or technology partners is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer-facing and communication skills in English.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work effectively across multiple teams.
  • Ability to work independently while staying closely connected with regional and global teams.
  • Experience working in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK & Ireland for customer, partner, training, and on-site support activities when required.
