About the Role

Sales Engineer is a key role as you are dealing directly with Pentera's prospects, presenting new insights and introducing our technology across the UK/I. As a Sales Engineer at Pentera, you will be facing challenging assignments that address some of the most advanced and technological aspects of the Cyber Security world and Pentesting, in particular.

This is a unique opportunity to gain unprecedented experience in the Pentesting world as you will be exposed to the heart of security teams from different countries and industries.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted expert on cybersecurity technologies within customer environments.
  • Lead discovery and technical sessions to demonstrate product value and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales to qualify leads, develop strategy, and close opportunities.
  • Deliver compelling virtual and in-person product demonstrations.
  • Assess customer requirements, address technical questions, and align solutions to their needs.
  • Collaborate with partners to enhance customer experience and service capabilities.
  • Represent Pentera at conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings.
  • Support evaluations, installations, and post-sale adoption to ensure customer success.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Professional Services, preferably supporting enterprise customers in cybersecurity.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, networking, cloud, Docker, Active Directory, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network security, cybersecurity methodologies, and Microsoft network protocols.
  • Familiarity with penetration testing; practical experience is a strong advantage.
  • CEH, CISSP, or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a knack for building warm customer relationships and energizing the PoV room.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
