Role Description
The Sales Estimator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Burntwood. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to customer enquiries, reviewing specifications, and preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations for a wide range of sign and graphics projects. The role involves liaising with clients to understand requirements, advising on suitable products and solutions, and following up on quotations to convert opportunities into sales. The Sales Estimator collaborates closely with production and installation teams to ensure estimates align with capability, timelines, and budgets. This position also includes maintaining records of estimates, updating the CRM or internal systems, and contributing to the growth of new and existing customer accounts.

- Demonstrated skills in Customer Service and Communication to handle enquiries, clarify project requirements, and provide clear, professional information to clients.
- Experience in Sales and Business Development to convert estimates into orders, nurture client relationships, and support revenue growth.
- Competence in Project Estimation, including interpreting drawings or specifications, calculating materials and labor, and preparing accurate, timely quotations.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills for precise costing and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM systems); experience in signage, print, construction, or a related field is an advantage.
- Relevant vocational training or qualifications in business, sales, estimating, or a related discipline are beneficial.
