Sales Estimator
A manufacturer of specialist equipment for the Oil & Gas sector requires a Sales Estimator to build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers and to review incoming sales enquiries submitting quotations. The ideal candidate will have previous sales administration experience in preferably a manufacturing environment.
Commutable from: Telford, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Stafford, Cannock, Oswestry, Bridgnorth
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 p.a.

The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager you will have the following duties:
- Manage sales enquiries, understand customer requirements and prepare accurate quotations/proposals.
- Follow up opportunities to convert enquiries into orders.
- Build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Provide product advice and support to customers.
- Identify and develop additional sales opportunities.

The Person
Either a Recent Graduate In a Relevant Engineering Field Or Experienced In The Initial Sales Process In a Manufacturing Business You Will Have The Following Experience
- Motivated, enthusiastic and keen to develop a sales career.
- Confident communicating with customers by phone and email.
- Comfortable following up quotations and winning business.
- Strong relationship-building and teamwork skills.
- Organised, numerate and detail focused.
- Commercially aware with a customer-focused approach.
- Keen to learn engineering products and applications.
- Able to manage multiple enquiries and priorities.
- Good IT and Microsoft Office skills.
- Previous sales, customer service, estimating or commercial experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Engineering, manufacturing, industrial or construction experience is advantageous but full training will be provided.
