Sales Event Planner - Charlton Athletic FC, London
Full-Time / 12-month fixed term contract
£35,000 + excellent benefits including healthcare, wellbeing support, 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, meals on duty, and more.
We're looking for a motivated and passionate Event Planner to support the sales and business development across our exciting conference and events hospitality team at Charlton Athletic Football Club – an iconic stadium with a strong blend of heritage and community that offers the ideal environment for entertaining football and first-class food.
A creative thinker with a background in hospitality and events sales and a passion for sales will thrive in this exciting role!

Event Planner - The role
- Supporting with the entire event sales process including customer communications, leading on venue show rounds, diary management, and administration including invoicing
- Acting as a friendly, positive, and professional point of contact for the conference and events hospitality sales team at Charlton Athletic FC
- Coordinating all event bookings in collaboration with the sales team
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, internal colleagues and customers
- Ensuring the highest standards of accurate and timely customer, staff and management information is shared
- Working with sales and venue colleagues to maximise revenue and actively promote the venue
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a conference and events/hospitality environment
- Passionate about C&E, venue led sales, and hospitality events operations
- A calm and confident mindset, with a can-do attitude
- Excellent verbal and communication skills and strong decision making skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Knowledge of Gratis & Delphi or other booking systems is a bonus!
