Sales & Events Apprentice — Bristol
Good Life is a 360° experiential events agency that creates immersive, festival-inspired brand activations, corporate events, and live experiences. We deliver memorable experiences through creative production, theming, talent booking, and end-to-end event management.
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across event delivery, marketing, operations, and business development while working within a fast-paced and creative environment.
The Role
Sales & Events Apprentice
Location: Bristol
Hours: 30 hours per week
Salary: £12,500 per annum + commission, for the initial 12 months, increasing to at least National Minimum Wage thereafter.
Good Life will also fund the Level 3 Event Assistant training and accreditation.
The Role
This is primarily a sales role. If you're competitive, love talking to people, and want to earn commission while learning the events industry from the ground up, this apprenticeship is for you.
Your week will be split across three areas:
- 2 days — Sales & Business Development (the core of this role)
- 1 day — Event Assistant (supporting live events and project coordination)
- 1 day — Warehouse & Asset Management (keeping our kit event-ready)

You'll be generating new business leads, reaching out to potential clients, and supporting the team in converting opportunities — with commission on top of your salary when you do. Alongside that, you'll get real hands-on exposure to how a busy events agency operates, from production to logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development (2 days/week — primary focus)
- Proactive outreach and lead generation to identify new business opportunities
- Client communications and supporting the sales pipeline
- Helping convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Earning commission through successful sales activity
- Assisting with proposals, presentations, and new business materials
Event Assistant (1 day/week)
- Supporting the planning and coordination of events, artists, and logistics
- Assisting with event-day operations
- Managing timelines, schedules, and event prep
- Supporting research and development for future concepts
Warehouse & Asset Management (1 day/week)
- Organising and maintaining the warehouse
- Managing event props, equipment, and assets
- Preparing kit and materials ahead of upcoming events

General Administration
- Keeping tasks and deadlines on track across multiple projects
- Supporting funding and development opportunities alongside external partners
Who We're Looking For
Essential:
- Strong communication skills — confident, clear, and persuasive
- A natural drive to reach out, follow up, and close deals
- Organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities
- Positive attitude and a strong team ethic
- Genuine enthusiasm for sales, events, or both
Useful (not essential):
- Any previous sales, customer-facing, or business development experience
- Experience in events, hospitality, or production
- Comfort with spreadsheets, CRM tools, or task management software
