Role: Sales & Events Manager

Type: Permanent

Location: Farringdon / Hybrid

Reports to: Sales Director

Salary: DOE

About the Role

Fabric is looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Sales & Events Manager to help grow our midweek events business. Working closely with the Sales Director, you'll build relationships, create new opportunities and turn enquiries into memorable events.

You'll own the full client journey, from the first conversation and site visit through to contracting, event planning and advancing with our operations team to ensure every event is set up for success. Alongside inbound enquiries, you'll proactively develop new business, nurture client relationships and create opportunities for repeat business.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment and gets genuine satisfaction from winning new business. Most importantly, you'll understand what Fabric stands for and be passionate about representing one of London's most respected independent music venues.

Sales & Business Development

  • Manage and convert inbound enquiries for midweek events, including corporate events, brand activations, product launches, conferences, networking events, filming, and private celebrations.
  • Support the Sales Director in executing the venue's midweek sales strategy and identifying opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Get out into the industry. Build relationships with agencies, brands and creatives, keeping Fabric front of mind when opportunities arise.
  • Be an ambassador for Fabric, representing the venue at networking events, industry gatherings and site visits. The relationships you build are just as important as the spaces you sell.
  • Maintain accurate records, pipelines, forecasts, and client communications within the CRM system.
  • Take ownership of the sales process from enquiry through to contract negotiation and confirmation.
  • Consistently achieve individual and team sales targets, monitoring performance against agreed KPIs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
