We’re looking for a motivated Sales Executive to help us drive our established business into an exciting new era.

Who are we?

Lehmann Ingredients was founded in 1988 by Guy Lehmann in Lancaster. We’ve remained family owned and operated since that day, now with a team of 13, working with ingredient suppliers across the world. Our expertise lays in helping manufacturers in the food, drinks, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries source the ingredients they require to sustain their production and product development. With our established supplier base, we navigate the markets for our clients to provide competitive pricing and assurance of quality, manage the importation of ingredients, and advise our clients on trends and how to keep up with them.

Who are you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Executive. A solutions orientated individual with an ability to deliver exceptional customer service, you will be able to cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and suppliers alike.

You are capable of learning a complex, diverse and evolving ingredients range, and can present this in an easy-to-understand format to clients and prospects. Where a technical solution is required, you will be able to use your knowledge to propose ingredient solutions to meet a client brief. Where a solution is not off the shelf, you will work with our suppliers and prospective suppliers to consider whether a positive solution can be attained for the client at a sensible return on investment of resources.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
