Sales Executive
Location: Hybrid – Edmonton, North London, with UK travel
Job Type: Full-time, including one Sunday per month
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 + OTE
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, commercially driven and client-focused Sales Executive to join a growing B2B textile wholesale business. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established business that is going through a period of growth, rebranding and digital transformation. The successful candidate will play an important role in driving revenue, developing new business and strengthening relationships with an established customer base. The role will focus primarily on strategic B2B customers, including resellers, fabric retailers and larger production houses.
You will have the opportunity to build and manage your own sales portfolio, develop long-term client relationships and play a key role in identifying new commercial opportunities across the UK.

Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Account Management
- Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B customers, developing strong and long-term commercial relationships
- Understand customer requirements, buying patterns and business needs
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling and increasing customer spend
- Maintain regular communication with key accounts and conduct account reviews
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring a professional and responsive service
New Business & Sales Development
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities
- Research potential customers and target new accounts across the UK
- Conduct outbound sales activity, including calls, emails and industry networking
- Develop relationships with decision-makers and convert prospects into long-term customers
- Work towards agreed sales and revenue targets
Customer Visits & UK Travel
- Arrange and conduct customer meetings and showroom appointments
- Travel regularly across the UK to meet existing and prospective customers
- Attend sales trips and industry events where appropriate
- Use face-to-face meetings to strengthen relationships and uncover new commercial opportunities
Sales Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities and sales activity within the CRM
- Manage your sales pipeline effectively
- Provide regular updates on sales performance, opportunities and forecasts
- Participate in regular sales reviews and contribute to wider commercial planning

Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with buying, merchandising, marketing and warehouse teams
- Ensure customer requirements are communicated effectively across the business
- Help resolve customer queries and issues quickly and professionally
- Share market and customer insights with the wider team
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of demonstrable sales experience, ideally within B2B, wholesale, physical products or textiles
- Experience selling to retailers, resellers, manufacturers or production businesses would be advantageous
- Previous experience within the textile, fashion, interiors, craft or related industries would be beneficial
- Experience as a Sales Agent would be an advantage
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Confident in identifying and converting new business opportunities
- Commercially sharp, target-driven and motivated by achieving results
- Strong communication, negotiation and persuasive selling skills
- Professional, confident and personable approach with customers
- Fast learner with strong commercial common sense
- Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a wider team
- Experience using CRM systems and digital sales tools
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout the UK
