Within the Sales Support division at GA Telesis, the Inside Sales Team focuses on negotiating with suppliers to obtain goods, materials, and services at the best prices. Using detailed sourcing strategies and extensive knowledge geared toward the aviation industry; the Sales Executive role will be responsible for effectively communicating and maintaining a professional relationship with vendors and customers. Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Operations the ideal candidates would have a background in sales orders processing, able to navigate working in a fast-paced industry and use their personal drive to assist with strategic business planning for FSG (Flight Solution Group) and the company overall.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather quotes on parts and services based on customer requirements
  • Fulfill quotes by quoting from stock and/or brokering materials
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with customers
  • Maintain customer opportunities within Salesforce
  • Follow parts traceability requirements set forth
  • Track shipments from freight forwarders and suppliers to ensure prompt delivery
  • Resolve Non-Conforming Materials (NCO Cage) discrepancies
  • Forecast, track, and achieve sales revenue with gross margin projections
  • Travel may be required (Less than 10%)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 year of aviation inside sales experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively and self-motivated
  • Ability to maintain professional relationships with vendors and customers
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Proficient with Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills, the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience
  • Experience with Quantum CRM and Salesforce
  • Experience working with ILS, Aeroxchange
