Job Title: Sales Executive
Salary: £27,000 basic per annum, plus commission and company benefits
Location: Norwich
Contract: Permanent, full time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm (flexible hours)
Break: 30 minute unpaid lunch
Work model: Full time onsite for the first 3 months, followed by a hybrid pattern of 2-3 days per week in the office.

Williams Lea employees, nearly 7,000 people worldwide provide efficient business services at client sites in often complex and highly regulated environments, from centralised Williams Lea onshore facilities, and through best cost company offshore locations.
TSO is a UK based content publisher, delivering high quality publishing solutions, across multiple formats on behalf of clients to end customers in the UK and globally. Originally specialising in government regulatory publishing, TSO is actively developing new clients in private sector professional publishing.
Job Purpose
This Sales Executive role focuses on driving sales of specialist regulatory, compliance, and professional reference publications across a range of sectors by managing the international distributors and resellers, book trade and other relationships that TSO currently have; it involves selling both hardcopy and digital content through a set of varied sales channels to a global customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Export sales Manager to achieve and deliver on specific sales objectives and revenue targets within specified timeframes
- Support the Reseller sales channel with management of key distributors and reselling partners and assist in delivering the overall target
- To build excellent relationships with customers and discover proactive ways in which we can collaborate to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Cross sell the full range of TSO products into these customers
- Build strong working relationships with our customer services, finance and warehouse teams.
- Support the delivery of sales targets and revenue growth across international markets.
- Manage and develop relationships with distributors, resellers, and key partners.
- Drive sales of specialist print and digital content to existing and prospective customers.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and support new business development.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to support forecasting and growth.
- Ensure partners have up-to-date product information and marketing materials.
- Attend client and internal meetings, presenting insights, recommendations, and results.
- Support regional sales network development, logistics activities, and client reporting.
- Assist with market research, sales analysis, and customer presentations.

Key Competencies and Skills
- Ability to sell products, platforms and content to achieve revenue targets.
- Building long term customer relationships – through building trust, and understanding their customer needs
- Positive can-do attitude to ensure delivery and outcomes happen.
- Organised – both for your own work and bringing together the inputs of colleagues, partners and suppliers
- Collaborative – to keep everyone involved and aligned.
- Communication – with all internal and external stakeholders
- Technical - Comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint at an intermediate level, with strong technical aptitude to quickly learn new digital platforms and tools without extensive guidance.
- Analytical and creative thinker, skilled at interpreting customer behaviour and identifying opportunities through innovative problem-solving.
- Keeping CRM up to date with accurate notes and sales pipeline
