Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 40 hours per week between the hours of 8am- 8pm, Monday to Sunday

Salary: £27,908.40

Purpose of the Role:

As Sales Executive you will be an active, contributing member of the sales team and handle calls, emails and converting to viewings and bookings using the sales process.

You will be responsible for ensuring your enquiries are followed up using all routes for contacting and converting to a booking in line with the sales process.

The student experience is at the forefront of everything we do, so you'll be passionate about delivering top customer service.

You will be sales and target led with a clear understanding of each properties proposition and USPs along with clear knowledge of the sales process as well as policies and procedures.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • Managing all enquiries from multiple communication channels including phone, live chat, email, web and social media
  • Converting sales leads into viewing appointments and bookings
  • Conducting outbound calls only to follow up on all enquires
  • Identifying the sales opportunities and customer needs
  • Delivering daily and weekly targets including conversion tracking
  • Updating all databases accurately to allow for effective analysis
  • Liaise with the property teams regarding local sales activity and ensure they have all the tools required locally to drive lead conversion
  • Comply with Health and Safety working practice in accordance with the company’s policy
  • To be flexible and work effectively with other colleagues
  • Ensure all enquiries are logged and all sales processes and policies are followed.
  • Ensure all enquiries are followed up using all routes for contacting and converting to a booking in line with the sales process
  • Demonstrate a clear knowledge of the booking system
  • Demonstrate a clear knowledge of the properties and keeping up to date with all activity throughout the year
  • Ensure deadlines are met
  • Identifying the sales opportunities and customer needs
  • Delivering daily and weekly sales targets including conversion tracking

  • Must have very strong written English skills for communication with customers.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

  • Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels.
  • Ability to achieve goals and targets within timescales.
  • Sales experience preferred but not required.
