Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom. The Sales Executive will identify and qualify new business opportunities, reach out to prospective clients, and present tailored energy and utility solutions that align with their needs.   • Managing the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial contact and needs assessment through proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Following up on leads.
  • Meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets.
  • Building and nurturing long-term client relationships.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Staying informed about market trends, pricing, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within energy, utilities, telecoms, or related business solutions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
  • Comfortable working to targets and KPIs, with a results-oriented and proactive approach.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accurate record-keeping in CRM tools.
  • Willingness to work on-site in the Manchester Area and travel locally to meet clients as needed.
  • Basic understanding of energy, utilities, or telecoms markets is an advantage; training will be provided.
  • Professional, ethical approach aligned with Volt Solutions Group Limited’s values of trust and transparency.
  • Secondary education required; further education or sales certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
