About Continental Alloys & Services Ltd
Continental Alloys & Services Ltd are a leading supplier of steel products and precision sub-contract engineering services to the global energy industry.
Based primarily in our Peterhead site with some customer site visits and home working also if required.
We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our team and help drive sales growth.
Ideally previous experience in a machine shop or steel sales background.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and establishing new and existing customer relationships
- Identifying customer needs and providing solutions to meet those needs.
- Preparing and processing quotations and orders
- Developing sales plans and strategies to increase sales.
- Managing the sales process from lead generation to close.
- Analyzing market trends and customer feedback to identify areas of improvement.

Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A machine shop or steel sales background
- Knowledge of oilfield steel grades advantageous.
- Strong customer-facing skills
- Sales & customer service experience
- Clear and confident phone manner
- Ability to self-manage, prioritize and use your own initiative
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Problem solving & working within a team
- Computer literate
- Ability to retain information
- Eye for detail
