Role Summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, preparing quotations, achieving assigned sales targets, and ensuring a smooth sales and order fulfillment process. The role involves regular customer visits, market research, coordination with internal departments and suppliers, and follow-up on payments and deliveries.

The position requires a customer-focused individual with strong communication and sales skills and preferably experience in the lubricants and spare parts industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential customers for the company’s products and services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and third parties to secure new business opportunities and deals.
  • Handle customer inquiries received by email, fax, and phone, and provide appropriate information and quotations.
  • Follow up on quotations and maintain accurate and updated quotation records.
  • Identify, contact, and visit new and existing customers to understand their requirements and recommend suitable products.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers and prospective customers.
  • Explain product features, capabilities, and limitations based on customer requirements and technical knowledge.
  • Follow up on customer orders and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding placed orders and arrange the required logistics until the products are received by the store.
  • Achieve the assigned sales targets for the designated product category.
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis and provide management with relevant feedback and recommendations.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution by coordinating with the relevant departments.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer communications, sales activities, quotations, and business opportunities.
  • Submit required sales and activity reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual territory analysis.
  • Follow up on customer payments and ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts in accordance with approved credit facilities.
  • Conduct appropriate market and customer financial investigations before applying for credit facilities.
  • Follow company policies and procedures throughout all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Ensure a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of sales-related documentation.
  • Attend all required training programs.
  • Comply with the requirements of Nass Commercial’s Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Perform any other duties that may reasonably and safely be assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
  • All educational certificates must be authorized/recognized by the relevant Bahrain Government authorities.
  • 2–5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within automotive spare parts, or related industry.
  • Strong sales and business development skills.
  • Good understanding of business and commercial principles.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs.
  • Good organizational skills with attention to quality, structure, persistence, and deadlines.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn the company’s products, business, culture, and processes quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure while maintaining safety and efficiency.
