Role Description
As a Sales Executive at Primark in Belfast, you will work on-site to deliver excellent customer service and drive sales performance on the shop floor. You will engage with customers, provide product information, support styling and purchasing decisions, and ensure merchandise is well-presented, replenished, and aligned with visual standards. You will monitor sales trends, support promotions, and collaborate with colleagues to meet targets while upholding Primark’s values and brand standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Operating point-of-sale systems
- Handling customer queries and returns
- Maintaining store cleanliness and safety
- Supporting stockroom activities
This is a full-time role that requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and peak trading periods.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and respectfully with diverse customers and colleagues.
- Sales, retail, or merchandising experience, including working towards targets, supporting promotions, and using basic sales data to inform actions.
- Organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in product presentation, stock handling, and store standards.
- Team collaboration skills, including a positive, solution-focused mindset and willingness to support colleagues across different tasks and departments.
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic digital tools; numeracy skills for handling transactions and cash reconciliations.
- Motivation to learn about fashion trends, customer preferences, and Primark products to provide informed recommendations.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move stock safely, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
