⭐Audience Development Executive/ Delegate Sales Executive⭐
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 + Commission
We’re looking for a commercially driven Audience Development Executive to join a growing international events business, working across two leading events.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in B2B sales, delegate sales, business development or audience development who enjoys building relationships, identifying new opportunities and engaging with senior decision-makers.
The role combines sales, market research, prospecting and strategic audience development, with a strong commercial focus.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for driving delegate revenue and delivering a high-quality audience through proactive outreach across phone, email and LinkedIn.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Generate delegate revenue through targeted outbound sales campaigns.
- Identify, research and engage senior decision-makers across biotech, pharma, healthcare, academia and investment.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM systems.
- Qualify prospects and convert them into confirmed event attendees.
- Meet and exceed delegate revenue and attendance targets.
- Research emerging companies, funding activity, clinical developments and market trends.
- Identify new companies and market segments with commercial potential.
- Research senior executives including CEOs, CSOs, CTO and Business Development leaders.
- Use platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo and CRM databases to build targeted prospect lists.
- Work closely with commercial teams to identify ideal customer profiles for sponsors and partners.
- Support sponsor campaigns by sourcing high-value target companies and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop audience targeting strategies and identify new acquisition opportunities.
- Work with content and conference teams to understand key programme themes and attract relevant audiences.
- Personally engage with C-suite executives and senior industry professionals through consultative outreach.
- Build strong relationships with industry influencers and key strategic accounts.
- Manage VIP invitations and senior executive engagement throughout campaigns.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, reporting and pipeline information.

What We’re Looking For
Essential experience:
- Previous experience in delegate sales, B2B sales, business development or audience development.
- Strong outbound sales experience across phone, email and LinkedIn.
- Excellent prospecting, research and lead-generation skills.
- Experience using CRM systems; Salesforce experience would be advantageous.
- Comfortable using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo or similar prospecting tools.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop revenue opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple campaigns and priorities.
- A proactive and resilient approach to working in a target-driven environment.

Desirable:
- Experience within B2B conferences, exhibitions or events.
- Experience working alongside sponsorship and marketing teams.
- Familiarity with Monday.com or event registration platforms.
- Experience researching clinical pipelines, funding announcements or company growth.
