Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Manchester. The Sales Executive will identify and develop new business opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and qualifying leads
- Conducting site visits
- Preparing and presenting proposals
- Managing the sales cycle from initial enquiry to contract agreement

The role involves:

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Collaborating with technical and operations teams to ensure accurate specifications and pricing
- Tracking sales activities using CRM tools
- Monitoring market trends
- Participating in networking events as required
- Contributing to meeting revenue and growth targets
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B field sales, account management, or business development, ideally within construction, engineering, or building services.
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and closing deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with a focus on consultative selling.
- Ability to interpret technical information, work with specifications, and liaise effectively with engineering and operations teams.
- High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail in preparing proposals and documentation.
- Comfortable working on-site and visiting customer locations, with a valid UK driving licence preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, document preparation).
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Understanding of or interest in lift solutions, building regulations, or related technical fields is an advantage.
- Relevant education or training in sales, business, or a related discipline is beneficial.
