About Acumen IBC
Acumen IBC provides professional services to international companies and entrepreneurs operating across the UK and Europe. We support businesses with services including VAT registration and compliance, fiscal representation, company formation, regulatory support, and other cross-border business services.
We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Sales Executive to join our team in Abingdon-on-Thames.
The Role
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing new enquiries, identifying prospective clients, and converting opportunities into new business. You will communicate with companies from different countries and industries, understand their requirements, and introduce the most appropriate Acumen services.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and qualifying inbound sales leads
- Contacting prospective B2B clients via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Following up with new and existing prospects
- Understanding client requirements and recommending suitable services
- Presenting Acumen’s services clearly and professionally
- Preparing quotations and commercial proposals
- Managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to conversion
- Maintaining accurate records of leads, communications, and opportunities in HubSpot CRM
- Following up consistently on open opportunities
- Coordinating with our internal team during client onboarding
- Re-engaging previous enquiries and identifying additional sales opportunities
- Building strong, long-term relationships with international clients
- Working towards individual and team sales targets
- Providing regular updates on pipeline activity and conversions

About You
We’re looking for someone who is confident, organised, and comfortable speaking with business clients. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in sales, telesales, or B2B sales
- Strong written and spoken English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence communicating by telephone, email, and video call
- A proactive and persistent approach to sales and follow-ups
- Strong organisational skills
- Good commercial awareness
- Confidence using CRM systems and digital tools
- Ability to learn and explain professional services clearly
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small international team
