Role Description

The Sales Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Reading. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing a sales pipeline, and building long-term relationships with clients in the IT Service Management and business transformation space. Day-to-day activities include prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts in close collaboration with consulting and delivery teams. The Sales Executive will work with marketing to follow up on campaigns, maintain accurate CRM records, and meet or exceed agreed sales targets. The role also involves staying current on Pink Elephant EMEA’s service portfolio and market trends to effectively position solutions and support client success.

  • Strong B2B sales skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and closing deals.
  • Experience building and maintaining client relationships, with a consultative approach to understanding business needs and proposing suitable solutions.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management, IT consulting, or related technology and business transformation services; familiarity with ITIL®, COBIT, or ISO27001 is an advantage.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, including presenting to stakeholders, preparing proposals, and negotiating agreements.
  • Proven ability to work toward sales targets, organize priorities, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working on-site in Reading and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience in a similar sales role within IT or professional services is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
