Greenhous Chery Sales Executive Opportunity
Greenhous Chery is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our team in Shrewsbury.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Chery dealership and be part of a team representing an innovative and forward-thinking automotive brand.
As a Sales Executive, you’ll guide customers through the full vehicle-buying journey, from the initial enquiry through to handover. You’ll build strong relationships with customers, understand their requirements and help them find the right vehicle and finance solution for their needs.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Salary: £20,000 basic plus commission
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 6.00 pm, alternating Saturdays, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm with a day off during the week, i.e. average of 42.5 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid)
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers to the dealership and providing a professional, friendly experience.
- Building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable vehicles.
- Conducting vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
- Managing enquiries from various channels, including online, telephone and in person.
- Following up leads and maintaining regular contact with customers.
- Discussing vehicle specifications, pricing, finance and additional products.
- Working towards and achieving individual and dealership sales targets.
- Ensuring all customer and sales information is recorded accurately on the relevant systems.
- Delivering an excellent customer experience from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover.

Ideally, we are looking for:
- Previous automotive sales experience is desirable.
- Experience in a customer-facing or sales environment.
- A confident and engaging communication style.
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- A positive, target-driven and motivated approach.
- Strong organisational and follow-up skills.
- The ability to build rapport and establish lasting customer relationships.
- A full UK driving licence.
- A willingness to learn and develop your product and automotive knowledge.
