We’re looking for a Sales Executive
Our Sales Executives are skilled sales professionals focused on re-engaging and converting business customers. You’ll manage and nurture a high-quality sales pipeline, with the opportunity to earn uncapped commission based on revenue generated. Our Sales Executives are focused on businesses who have either applied, or used our products or services in the past, but aren’t currently.
Your mission
- Build and nurture a pipeline of high-quality leads from qualified pools of business customers
- Employ expert sales skills to understand customer needs and tailor your pitch to iwoca’s market-leading product offering
- Utilise our market-leading tech and systems to effectively manage your own portfolio of leads, following your own contact strategy
- Go above and beyond to hit your KPIs, maximise commission, and exceed growth targets
- Liaise with different teams within iwoca, such as Account Management, Marketing, and Underwriting to achieve the best outcome for your customers
- Be a team player, helping to improve this exciting part of the business

Requirements
We look for people who are smart, humble, motivated, and who are always looking to improve.
Ideally you'll have:
- Have past experience in sales, ideally within financial services
- Be comfortable making outbound calls, and have an excellent call manner
- Be highly motivated, and excited to exceed targets
- Be able to take on, and provide, quality feedback to power your own growth, as well as that of your teammates
- Be organised and able to manage a large pipeline of prospects, with deals at various stages of progress
- Be able to simplify and explain complex products in a way that customers with little experience in commercial financing can easily understand
Desired (but not essential):
- Understand the challenges facing small businesses
- A good understanding of different financial products used by small businesses
The salary
The expected OTE for this role ranges from £55,000 - £70,000. We’re open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly performance and salary reviews.
