Sales Executive
Location: Guildford
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: OTE up to £50,000 per annum + Company Car (£25,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission)
Working Hours: 44 hours per week (One weekday off and weekends worked on a rota basis)
About the Role
Our client, a successful automotive retailer, is looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Sales Executive to join their established sales team in Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional, or someone looking to build a rewarding career in the automotive industry, to work within a fast-paced and supportive environment.
You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, guiding customers through the vehicle purchasing journey, and helping them find the right vehicle to suit their needs. The successful candidate will be driven, enthusiastic, and motivated by achieving results.

Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions
- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles
- Arrange and accompany customers on vehicle test drives
- Build strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process
- Negotiate and agree sales packages to meet customer and business needs
- Complete all required sales documentation accurately and efficiently
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Achieve individual and team sales targets
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times

Requirements
About You
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident in building rapport with customers
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and target-driven
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence required

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a sales-focused role
- Automotive or motor trade experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Experience working towards and achieving sales targets
- Strong negotiation and customer service skills
