Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based at Coventry Audi’s Tamworth location. The Sales Executive is responsible for:

  • Welcoming customers to the showroom
  • Understanding their needs
  • Presenting suitable Audi vehicles and related products

  • Conducting test drives
  • Preparing tailored quotations and finance options
  • Managing the sales process from initial enquiry to handover
  • Maintaining accurate records in the dealership’s systems

The role involves:

  • Following up leads
  • Building lasting customer relationships
  • Meeting individual and team sales targets
  • Coordinating with service and finance colleagues to ensure a smooth customer journey

The Sales Executive also supports showroom presentation standards and participates in promotional events and product launches.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail or automotive sales, with the ability to manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to delivery.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, including active listening and a consultative sales approach.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with confidence in explaining product features and finance options in clear terms.
  • Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including accurate record-keeping and follow-up on leads.
  • Comfort working with digital tools and dealership systems; basic proficiency in standard office software.
  • Interest in the automotive sector and willingness to learn detailed product knowledge about Audi vehicles.
  • Ability to work on-site in Tamworth, including some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
  • A valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company and insurance requirements.
  • Previous experience in a franchised dealership environment is beneficial but not essential.
