Role Description

The Sales Executive is a full-time on-site role based in Birmingham and North Side, responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening customer relationships. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and promoting HQHalalOfficial products to retailers, distributors, and foodservice partners. The Sales Executive will conduct regular visits to customers, present product ranges, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure orders are processed accurately and on time. This role also involves monitoring market trends, gathering customer feedback, and collaborating with internal teams on promotions, merchandising, and product positioning. The successful candidate will contribute to sales targets, prepare performance reports, and represent the brand professionally at meetings, tastings, and industry events.

  • Demonstrated sales skills, including lead generation, closing deals, and account management in FMCG or related sectors.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with confidence engaging diverse customers and stakeholders.
  • Customer service orientation, with skills in relationship-building, problem-solving, and handling inquiries or complaints professionally.
  • Basic commercial and analytical skills, such as understanding margins, pricing, and using sales data to inform decisions.
  • Ability to work independently on-site, manage time effectively, and organize visits, routes, and sales activities.
  • Comfort using digital tools (email, CRM systems, spreadsheets, and mobile apps) to track leads, orders, and sales performance.
  • Previous experience in food, retail, or hospitality sales is highly beneficial; knowledge of halal products is an advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as required for customer visits.
